Zenith Bank Zecathon 3.0 Startups Grant: Everything You Need To Know
Due to the great victory and achievement of the previous year’s pitch competition, Zenith Bank, in partnership with Seedstars, has announced N59Millions Zecathon 3.0. Startups Grant which is available for eligible startups in Nigeria. Zecathon 3.0. requires you to present your business ideas and if the ideas are accepted by the committee, you'll be rewarded for your inventions.
According to Zenith Bank, first prize winner will be rewarded with N20 million, plus an opportunity to pitch investors and access the Seedstars Mentorship Hub. The second winner will get a prize reward of N15 million, plus inclusive of a scholarship into the Seedstars mentorship hub and third winner will get a N10 million prize, also plus a scholarship into the Seedstars mentorship hub.
In a nutshell, the first, second and third startups that wins will get not only a cash prizes but will also receive pitch training and scholarship into the Seedstars mentorship hub as part of a follow-on in the program. However, the remaining startups, winners from 4th positions to 10th positions will get N2Millions Grants each plus business support through training.
According Zenith Bank's Executive Director, Mr. Temitope Fasoranti, he said after the previous success of their previous collaboration with Seedstars, they're thrilled to launch Zecathon 3.0. which is the the Bank’s commitment to identifying, supporting, and mentoring Nigerian MVP-stage startups, aimed at shaping the future of business in Africa.
Zecathon 3.0. Eligibility Requirements
Zenith Bank has stated that startups looking to part take in the Zecathon 3.0. Grant Program must be at MVP stage with a full team and have raised no more than $75,000 in Funding. More so, you must be operating in the follow business sectors in Nigeria: Cybersecurity, Payment and Lending, Agrictech, Edtech, SMEs, Entertainment, Health and Wellness, Green Energy, Retails and E-commerce, and Transport and Logistics.
